We often speak of the frequency at which all living beings vibrate, Einstein himself stating “Everything in life is vibration“. In Acoustic Resonance an aerial artist and a dancer explore their own natural frequencies, searching for a moment of resonance and harmony between them.

We delve into the delicate attempt of two people struggling to express themselves honestly and openly, but being unable to find their way.

Being caught in the intricacies of this balancing act, the performers explore their desire to match one's frequency with another's, and also face what happens when this delicate balance tips.

Exploring the themes of communication and its break downs through dance and circus KNOT Kollektiv seek to understand the great mystery of natural human connection.

Acoustic Resonance was created with support of Panama Pictures and Fontys Academy of Circus and Performance Arts and premiered in April 2019.
